Follow these tips to stay healthy during the Holidays!
Recipe Modifications:
- Replace high calorie, high saturated-fat butter with no sugar added applesauce. You can use cinnamon-flavored applesauce when appropriate
- Replace high calorie, high sugar table sugar with sugar substitutes
- Replace high calorie, high saturated-fat heavy cream, whole milk, and cheese with their low-fat and fat-free versions
- Replace white flour, with half whole-wheat flour
- Use low calorie extracts like vanilla, almond and pumpkin pie spice to flavor foods
