June is Turkey Lovers Month, which is a great reason to try this month’s recipe that is filled with lean protein, B vitamins and flavor!

Crockpot Turkey

Ingredients:

  • 3 lb frozen turkey breast, thawed (like butterball)
  • 3 cups celery, chopped
  • 3 cups onion, chopped
  • Prepared Gravy Packet
  • Black Pepper

Directions:

Place chopped onions and celery in the bottom of slow cooker. Place thawed turkey breast on top of vegetables. Season with a generous amount of black pepper. Pour ½ cup of water over vegetables. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. Prepare gravy per package instructions.

Serving: 3-4 oz of turkey, ½ cup cooked celery and onion, ¼ cup gravy
